From Passion to Process: Tiff and Tom Share Their Home Decor Journey and Creative Vision
Welcome back to another installment of our Creator Series!
Creating a home that feels personal, layered, and intentional is a journey many design lovers are navigating. In this installment of our Creator Series, we’re spotlighting Tiff and Tom—a creative duo whose colorful, vintage-inspired home reflects who they are and how they live. From mixing second-hand and modern decor to designing spaces that support everyday living. Their story offers inspiration for anyone looking to build a home rooted in comfort, creativity, and authentic self-expression.
Who Are Tiff and Tom?
Tiff and Tom are a couple whose paths crossed unexpectedly but quickly aligned through shared creativity and passion.
Tom is a professional videographer who has successfully turned his love for visual storytelling into a full-time career. With an eye for detail, lighting, and composition, he brings a cinematic perspective to interior content. Tiff works as a nurse, following a more traditional career path, but has always felt drawn to home décor, vintage furniture, and colorful interior styling.
“I’ve always been deeply passionate about home décor, vintage pieces and colorful interiors that bring comfort and joy,” Tiff shares. While their professional worlds differ, they complement each other seamlessly—blending practicality, creativity, and visual storytelling.
Today, they live in the Lille metropolitan area in a cozy home that continues to evolve alongside them. Their daily life is filled with “softness, colors, creativity and… cats who supervise everything we do” creating a space that feels warm, lived-in, and full of personality.
Their Home Decor Journey
Tiff’s interior design journey began early. “Ever since I was a child, I loved rearranging my room. I constantly needed to change things around.” For her, decorating has always been about emotion—how a space feels rather than how closely it follows trends.
Tiff’s passion around design began to influence Tom as it became something the two could do as a couple. “When Tom realized how passionate I was about décor, he joined in. Now it’s something we build together.”
Rather than sticking to one interior design style, they enjoy mixing vintage decor, second-hand finds, and modern pieces. “I’ve always decorated by having fun” Tiff explains, emphasizing that design doesn’t need to feel rigid or overwhelming.
The biggest challenges didn’t come from decorating itself, but from stepping into content creation—launching their Instagram account, posting their first home videos, reaching early milestones, and eventually collaborating with brands. Despite this, their motivation remains grounded. “We want to feel good at home. We want our space to reflect who we are, to soothe us, to boost our mental well-being.”
Tiffandtom as Interior Design Content Creators
Becoming content creators felt like a natural extension of their lifestyle. “We started creating content because it just made sense. We love décor, and Tom is a videographer.” By combining interior styling with high-quality video production, Tiffandtom was born.
Their content focuses on home styling ideas, interior inspiration, and thoughtful design moments captured through a visual lens. “Creating high-quality content is something we truly enjoy. Nothing is more satisfying than capturing beautiful images of our home and the décor we create.”
Looking ahead, they envision Tiffandtom as more than a social media page. “In a perfect world, Tiffandtom is a creative duo full of ideas, goals and vision.” Their long-term dream is to decorate spaces beyond their own—homes, venues, and unique interiors that allow their design universe to expand.
Inside Their Colorful, Vintage-Inspired Home
Their home is a reflection of their evolving style and shared values. “Our home is a mix of colors, textures, vintage finds and pieces that tell a story.” Every wall, piece of furniture, and decorative object contributes to a layered interior that feels both curated and personal.
Nothing is permanent. Furniture is rearranged, walls are repainted, and decor is constantly reimagined. Their interior design style draws inspiration from retro elements, Scandinavian simplicity, and playful use of color, while still allowing the space to guide decisions organically.
Sentimental decor plays a key role—whether it’s a thrifted piece restored by hand, a print collected during travel, or a lamp tied to a meaningful memory. “The more we grow, the more we embrace bold colors and a mix of styles.”
As their design confidence grows, they plan to push boundaries further through custom furniture, statement decor, and creative interior projects, with the hope of one day extending their aesthetic beyond their own home.
Advice for Starting Your Home Decor Journey
When asked to share advice for readers beginning their interior design journey, Tiff and Tom keep it refreshingly simple. “Start small. A color, an object, a vibe. You don’t need to change everything at once to transform your home.”
They encourage readers to trust their instincts over trends. “Décor is about feelings. What matters most is how you feel in your space, not what is ‘trendy’ or what Pinterest says.” Mixing new decor with vintage and second-hand finds, experimenting with color, and allowing your home to evolve are all part of the process.
For aspiring interior design content creators, their advice is equally grounded. “Start with what you already have. Post consistently, experiment, learn. Stay genuine and passionate.” Above all, they believe authenticity is what builds meaningful community. “People connect most with creators who share their world with heart.”
Tiff and Tom’s journey reminds us that great interior design isn’t about perfection—it’s about storytelling, intention, and creating a home that grows with you. We’re grateful to them for sharing their space, their process, and their creative vision.
